CATHOLIC CHARITIES RESPONSE TO COVID-19

For over 100 years, Catholic Charities Eastern Washington has stood side by side with you to overcome times of change and hardship. Today is no different.

During this COVID-19 crisis, sitting on the sidelines is not an option for us. We have a sacred obligation and duty to continue the work you have entrusted to us, as best we can, even in this current Coronavirus world. We are putting forth every effort to ensure our clients know we are here for them. We will always answer the call to serve.

The poor and vulnerable are being hit hardest by this global pandemic, and Catholic Charities intends to remain here for them. We will not shy away from this fight. We are safely equipping our staff and building our organization to stand with the poor and vulnerable in this time of great need for them and for us all.  We will get through this together.

We invite you to a special moment of prayer

and action in these COVID-19 crisis times.

Good and Gracious God, we pray for your assistance in alleviating the pain and struggles of our brothers and sisters in need.

Working together and with your grace, we know that each person deserves and should have affordable housing, health care, adequate food, and economic security.

Loving God, we know that, "whatever we ask in your name, it will be granted to us." So help us during the uncertain COVID-19 time and help us alleviate poverty and broken spirits. May our efforts give you

praise and be a sign of your kingdom on earth.

Amen.
