Easter blessings.

During these uncertain times, we don't yet have perspective. The struggle and losses are still too fresh. Holy Week is a time of rebirth. A time to reset and understand that death and darkness do not have the last word.

Our Director of Parish Social Ministry Scott Cooper reminds us all, "That if we truly trust in God's mercy, in the model of life-from-death that He shows us, then resurrection will surely come." Indeed, resurrection will most certainly come. We will get through this, and we will come out the other side a stronger community.

Take this Easter and find a moment to celebrate spring for no other reason than to understand that life is worth living. From all of us at Catholic Charities, have a wonderful and blessed Easter.
