This Week God Brought Us... "Sharon"

This week God brought us…”Sharon”, who evacuated from the Spokane Complex Fire zone with her husband and was able to stay with friends until the evacuation lifted. After being in shock for a few days, she decided that feeling useful was a better way to go through the uncertainty of the disaster and so she said “yes” to a friend who invited her to come along to Catholic Charities to sort and organize the many donations we received after the fires. She continued to come in to help even after she was able to return to her home. When her friend thanked her for lending a hand, Sharon said “I should be thanking you. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a real lifesaver at this particular time.”

We are so grateful for Sharon and the dozens who have stepped in to help us as we respond to the many needs after the area fires. You are all blessings to us.
