This year, we felt lucky to get BACK together for an in-person event for the first time since COVID hit. On Friday, June 11, our guests arrived at Arbor Crest Winery and were met with spectacular views, great wine, and most of all, other people! While visitors mingled, our inaugural live online pre-show kept nearly 600 people entertained via Facebook Live that weren’t able to get a ticket before the event sold out. The pre-show featured segments about our upcoming housing unit Gonzaga Family Haven, what’s happening at HOC, and the current state of volunteering at CCEW post-COVID.

After Bishop Daly gave the blessing, those in attendance were treated to a sumptuous salmon and chicken dinner courtesy of Beacon Hill Catering. Live acoustic guitar music was provided by Michael Millham during dinner. At nearly 8 pm, our President and CEO, Rob McCann, took the stage and got the Gala program underway. Multiple awards and recognitions were given away/highlighted throughout the evening that included:

· Bishop’s Medal – Gene DiRe

· Donna Hanson Award – Linda Ward

· Special Retiree Recognition – Jon Andrus & Monique Kolonko

· Special Community Recognition – Elaine Couture & Mike Wilson

Thank you to all who attended in person, and thank you to those that tuned in to our live broadcast online. We were blessed to have an in-person event again, and we look forward to returning to The Grand Hotel next year, where we will gather with nearly 1,000 of our closest friends and family.

God Bless all of you, beautiful people!!
