Spring has SPRUNG!



Catholic Charities is thrilled to hosts it first Community Volunteer Day of 2022! WE have three different options to support clients on April 23! If you would like to learn more or to sign-up, please visit our website at www.cceasternwa.org/community.


Spring Yard Clean Up with Senior Services 8:30 am-noon

Sign up to work as an individual, a family, or a group to rake, weed, and do general yard clean-up for low-income seniors and disabled adults in Spokane County. We will meet in O’Malley Hall at St. Aloysius Church, 330 E. Boone, at 8:30 a.m. for coffee, muffins and yard assignments. Bring rakes and gloves if you have them!

Outdoor Beautification with House of Charity 10 am-noon. We need 5-10 volunteers to help spruce up the outdoor space at House of Charity for the spring. Masks will be required. We will meet at HOC, 32 W. Pacific Ave, at 10 am.


Outdoor Spring prep with St. Margaret's Shelter 10 am-noon. We need 5-10 volunteers to help with outdoor gardening and yard work to prepare for spring. 101 E. Hartson Ave

Greenhouse and Garden Bed Prep with Food For All 10 am-noon. We need 5-7 volunteers to help prepare the greenhouse and garden beds for planting at Bernadette’s Place. We will meet at 820 N. Summit Blvd at 10 am.

Can’t volunteer with us on April 23rd, but still want to help? We are looking for donations to help with our Spring Cleaning needs. Please bring items like, Organic or OMRI certified potting soil, Organic or OMRI certified compost, Hand trowels, Hand rakes, Gardening gloves to 12 E 5th Ave., Monday – Thursday 8 am - 5 pm.
